Greasy Curry Burger

Burgers, you got to love them. This week I had a nice curry stew and thought: ‘why not combine it with a burger’. So I made a fresh Curry sauce for the burger. It was really delicious and fresh. Hope you all will like it!



Р300 ground beefgehakt
– 4 drops of Worcestershite Sauce
– 1 teaspoon of Cumin
– 1 teaspoon of ketchup
– 2 fresh baked buns out of the oven
– 2 slices of cheese
– 1/2 tomato
– 1 Sjalot
– 1 clove of garlic
– 1/2 teaspoon of curry powder
– 3 table spoon of mayonnaisse
– 4 bacon strips
– 2 leafs of red cabbage
– Cucumber
– Handfull of arugula
– Salt & Pepper


  1. Bake your buns to perfection. Let them rest on a towl.
  2. Finely chopped the sjalots and mix this with the mayonnaisse, finely chopped garlic and curry powder.
  3. Mix the ground beef with mustard, Worcestershire sauce, cumin, ketchup, salt and pepper. And make two beautiful burgers.
  4. Let the pan heat up and add the bacon strips. Cook them till crispy. Get them out of the pan and let the rest. Add a bit of olive oil into the same pan again.
  5. Now add the burgers into the pan and cook them with a bit of butter.
  6. Cook for each side of the burger 3 to 4 minutes.
  7. When the burger is almost done, add a slice of cheese on top and let it melt.
  8. Cut the tomato, the cucumber and the red cabbage in thin slices. Mix the red cabbage with the arugula.
  9. Put a bit of the curry spread on the bun. Followed by the bacon strips, burger. then the cucumber, tomato, arugula and red cabbage.
