The Twisted burger

This is the twisted burger, cause it is in a thin line between sweet and salty. But the combination is really good. It actually also a healthy burger, cause of the sweet potato and mushrooms. Try it out and I hope you will like it!

Ingredients:

– 2 fresh baked buns out of the oven
– 300 gram ground beef
– 1 puprple sweet potato
– 1/2 lemon
– 2 tablespoon of finely chopped spring onions
– 7 oyster mushrooms
– 1 teaspoon of teriyaki sauce
– 1 carrot
– Sesame seeds
– Salt and pepper
– 2 slices cheddar cheese

Prepare:

  1. Cut the sweet potato in half and steam it for 20 minutes. After that take off the skin and mash it.
  2. Season it with a bit of lemon juice, salt and pepper.
  3. Bake your buns to perfection. Let them rest on a towel.
  4. Get a large bowl and mic the ground beef with spring onions, teriyaki sauce, salt and pepper. Heat up a pan and pan sear the oyster mushrooms with garlic. When they are nice golden brown, take them out of the pan and let them rest.
  5. Heat up the pan again with olive oil and cook the burger for 3 minutes each side. After that, add a slice of cheese on top of the burger and cook it for another 2 minutes and set the fire to low.
  6. And now it is time to built your burger.
  7. Cut the bun in half and add a bit of purple sweet potato, but not too much.
  8. Then followed by the burger with oyster mushrooms on top.
  9. Cut the carrot in thin slices and add it on top and sprinkle a bit of sesame seeds on top.
  10. Done!
