Heart Attack Burger

New years resolution? Give me a break! Just enjoy the heart attack burger. New year new me is the kind of attitude you use as excuse. When you need to do something, do it right now! Why new year? Well anyway, this burger will fill your stomach with joy. But it is on the heavy side I tell you. Heart attack is coming.


– 2 fresh baked buns out of the oven
– 300 gram ground beef
– 2 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon of ketchup
– 1 chicken filet
– 2 teaspoon of paprika powder
– 1/2 chilipowder
– 4 tablespoon of flour
– 2 eieren
– 1 tomaat
– 1 teaspoon mustard
– 2 tablespoon mayonnaise
– 4 slices of cheese
– Salt & pepper


  1. Cut the chicken filets in half through the length, so you get to pieces.
  2. Flatten the chicken filet.
  3. Mix the flower with the paprika powder and chili powder
  4. Beat the to eggs in a bowl.
  5. Take the chicken through the eggs and then through the mix of flour. Let it rest.
  6. Cook the buns to perfection and let it rest on a towel.
  7. Get a bowl and mix the ground beef with garlic powder, ketchup, salt and pepper.
  8. Heat up a pan and cook the bacon first. When they are crispy, get them out of the pan.
  9. Add a bit of olive oil and add the burgers and the floured chicken in to the pan. Cook per side 3 minutes. Add a slice of cheese on top of the burger and chicken and cook it for another 2 minutes.
  10. Add a slice of cheese and cook for another 2 minutes on low fire. When it is done, let it rest for a bit.
  11. Heat up a pan with butter and cook the onion till golden brown. Add the tablespoon of sugar and set your fire to low.
  12. Time to built.
  13. Mix the mayonnaise with mustard and add a bit of on your bun. Add a few thin slices of tomato with rucola.
  14. Then followed up by the burger and chicken.
  15. Done!
