Homie Airfryer with my Spicy Chicken Wings!

Hello hello, Happy Friday!

This time I am back with a short review of the Homie Airfryer and a recipe of my spicy chicken wings.
Lets get this first out the chest, this is not a paid review, so this will be my honest review of the Homie Airfryer.

First thing, first. The design, I do love the overall design. I got the white edition. It’s clean and slick.
Looks good. User friendly? It is very easy to use. Pop that thing on, set the warmth and the time. Done!
You can’t get it easier. So a big plus to that.
But one thing does bother me a little bit. The overall quality and user friendly is actually top notch!
But I think the basket inside of the Airfryer is a bit, small. So I can’t put to many ingrediënt in it.

The cleaning is also very easy. The basket contains actually 2 baskets. One to catch the juice and the second basket with grill is where you put your ingrediënt. Just take them out and wash it.

I used it several time before I write this review, and I decided to post my Spicy chicken wings along.

Spicy Chicken wings


– 8 chicken wings
– 1 teaspoon of Chinese five spices
– 1 teaspoon of finely chopped garlic
– 1 teaspoon of ketchup
– 1 teaspoon of Oyster sauce
– 1 teaspoon of sugar
– 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
– 1 teaspoon of corn starch
– 2 table spoon of Sriracha
– Sesame and spring onions
– Salt and pepper


  1. First check if the chicken wings are clean.
  2. Get a bowl and put your chicken wings in there.
  3. Mix the chicken wings with the Chinese five spices, chopped garlic, ketchup, sesame oil, oyster sauce,sugar and Sriracha. And a 1 teaspoon of cornstarch. Mix this well together.
  4. Marinate them for at least 1 hr.
  5. Get them out of the fridge 15 minutes before in to the Airfryer.
  6. Set you Airfryer to 200 celcius degree (392 Fahrenheit) for around 15 minutes.
  7. Check around 10 minutes how the wings are.
  8. get them out of the basket.
  9. Sprinkle some sesame seeds and spring onions.
  10. Enjoy!
