New year is around the corner people! Wouldn’t it be awesome to make a burger that has something to do with NYE?! At NYE we all think of the good food, new years resolutions and champagne. Well, I just combined champagne with good food. Didn’t put too much in it, but just enough that you can taste it.Happy New Year to all you guys!
Ingredients:
– 2 fresh baked buns out of the oven
– 300 gram ground beef
– 3 tablespoon of mayonnaise
– 1 teaspoon of curry powder
– 1/2 teaspoon of truffle puree
– 1 tablespoon of champagne
– 1 teaspoon of mustard
– 1 teaspoon of ketchup
– 1 onion
– 2 slices of cheese
– 1 tablespoon of sugar
– Salt & pepper
Prepare:
- Bake your buns to perfection. Let them rest on a towel.
- Get a large bowl and mic the ground beef with champagne, truffle, ketchup, mustard, salt and pepper. Let them rest a side.
- Heat up a pan with olive oil and put the burgers in. Cook them at least 3 minutes each side on medium fire.
- Add a slice of cheese and cook for another 2 minutes on low fire. When it is done, let it rest for a bit.
- Heat up a pan with butter and cook the onion till golden brown. Add the tablespoon of sugar and set your fire to low.
- Let the sugar melt on the onions and you’re done.
- Mix the a little bit curry powder with mayonnaise first.
- Then put a bit of the spread on your bun followed by your Champagne infused burger. Then the caramelized onions on top.
